The brief:
NeuroLux Bio is raising a Seed/Series A round around a recombinant botulinum toxin platform: a liquid, albumin-free formulation aimed at faster onset and 6–9 month duration, versus the 3–4 months typical of Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau.
The raw material was a case built for scientists and regulators — clinical trial phases, immunogenicity data, FDA fee schedules, patent families — not for a partner meeting. The job was to keep every claim intact while giving investors a deck they could read in one sitting and remember afterward.
Process:
Content architecture
Sorted market sizing, clinical data, IP, financials, and team into a single investor arc — opportunity, problem, solution, proof, ask — so each slide earns the next one.
Visual system
Built a design system around the existing NeuroLux mark — magenta on warm white/black, a clinical type scale, and a consistent grid — so the deck reads as one voice across 47 pages.
Data visualization
Rebuilt dense source tables and trial data as ring charts, comparison tables, and timelines — market growth, the competitive landscape, Phase 1–3 response rates, the IND-to-BLA timeline.
Refinement
Tightened language slide-by-slide against standard investor-deck conventions, and stress-tested the story order against likely investor questions.
Selected slides
