The brief:

Ecosentials manufactures Vitacost’s private-label “Clean Collection” paper goods and wanted to pitch an extension into premium facial cleansing cloths — backed by real market data, not just a product idea.

The raw material was a research packet: Amazon category revenue, a top-10 competitor breakdown, a single-SKU case study from the market leader, and a packaging strategy recommendation. The job was to turn that into a tight, persuasive deck a manufacturing partner could present directly to a retail buyer.

Process:

Narrative structure

Shaped the data into a sales arc: market opportunity, product proof, why-us, customization, manufacturing trust, and the competitive numbers to back it all up, closing on a clear ask.

Brand system

Built a design language around the existing “Clean Collection” packaging, watercolor leaf splashes, a green-to-lime gradient for callouts and stat cards, bold rounded display type.

Data storytelling

Rebuilt the Amazon competitor spreadsheet and the single-SKU revenue breakdown as clean, scannable tables, with the market leader’s numbers doing the persuading, not the prose.

Product styling

Placed real packaging renders and lifestyle photography against the brand’s watercolor motif so the deck felt like a natural extension of a product Vitacost already sells.
